According to Eric Balchunas, the U.S. SEC has published its 'Listing Standards' for crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) via a new exchange filing. The standards specify that any cryptocurrency with more than six months of futures trading on Coinbase's derivatives exchange will be eligible for ETP approval. This currently applies to about a dozen major cryptocurrencies, aligning with previous industry expectations.
